What an absolutely beautiful evening for an engagement session! I met Saray and Luz at Caesar’s Head State Park a few hours before sunset. We got to know each other as we explored the park a bit and did a few of their engagement photos. It was a perfect Summer evening and the landscape and sunset really showed out! I also photographed their wedding at the Cannon Centre in Greer, SC and it was such an awesome day!
Caesar’s Head State Park is a unique setting just a short drive from Greenville, SC. The elevation and sheer drop-off from the lookout allows you to see other mountains in the region like Table Rock. On clear days you can even see all the way to downtown Greenville! The park and surrounding areas (known as the Mountain Bridge Wilderness) are a perfect backdrop for engagement sessions like this.
The only drawback to an easily accessible location that provides this much beauty is that GPS on most cell phones have a tough time connecting. Saray and Luz got a little turned around on the way up and couldn’t get in contact with me to let me know they were running behind. I waited about half an hour before they were able to find their way! Luckily the beautiful scenery and the fiery sunset made up for the lost time and we were able to have an awesome engagement session!
Here are a few of my favorite photos from this romantic engagement session in Greenville, SC.
